The definition of engineering is quite simply “the art of directing the great sources of power in nature for the use and the convenience of people”. It is differentiated from science because it is primarily concerned with how to direct to useful and economical ends the concepts and ideas generated by individuals and businesses. Engineering therefore requires above all creative imagination to innovate and solve problems in unique ways.
Our Engineering department is dedicated to the creation of systems, devices, and processes useful to our customers in executing their business objectives. The process by which these goals are achieved can be described as engineering design.
This process can be characterized as a sequence of events .The process may be said to commence upon the recognition of, or the expression of, the need to satisfy some human want or desire, the "goal," which might range from the development and deployment of the international space station to a minor hand tool or fastener.
